GEORGIAN BALLOONING OPEN 2011

Georgian International Balloon Fiesta starts in Alazani Valley, October 1-3, 2011.
Georgia's olden-day town of Sighnaghi is chosen as the center of the event.
Pilots from all over the world are welcomed.


Organizers: Georgian National Tourism Agency.

We cover the following expenses (one team - two persons):
Convoying vehicles + fuel
Ground team (two persons per team)
Propane and helium
Topographic maps (two copies per team)
Accommodation in local hotels or guest houses (breakfast, dinner, supper included)


All pilots should sent to organizers until Aug. 1 a copy of:

- pilot licence;
- medical certificate;
- balloons' certificate of registration;
- balloons' certificate of airworthiness;
- balloons' insurance

All pilots should bring:

- aviation portable radio (two units);
- GPS;
- vario;
- GSM tel.;
- national flag (size 1.0 m x 1,5 m, two units);
- national anthem (CD).
